A Basic Emergency First Aid Responder is someone trained to provide immediate assistance to injured or suddenly ill persons until professional medical help arrives. This QCTO registered Skills Programme (SP-230801) prepares you to:

First Aid Certification Validity & Refresher Requirements
QCTO policy states that qualifications and skills programmes do not officially “expire”. However, workplace health and safety compliance requires a refresher certificate every 2–3 years to ensure practical competency remains current.
The Occupational Health and Safety Act requires that learners complete refresher training or renew certification every 3 years to remain compliant.
